The year is winding down and The Next Platform is taking a hiatus for the holidays.
It has been an exciting year for our publication, and we are grateful for the support that we have received. We believe even more strongly now that a publication that focuses on the sophisticated hardware and software that companies are weaving together to create a modern, distributed platform is needed in the market, and we are thrilled that we are getting a chance to build that publication.
It will be our custom to take a break from the travel and writing at this time of year and to spend time with friends and family. It will also be our custom to remind ourselves of the great support that we get from our readers, who build and use the most sophisticated systems on the planet, and that none of this is possible without the support of our advertisers and our partner and sister publication, The Register.
Without this backing, The Next Platform would not exist and without their ongoing and enthusiastic support, it could not grow, as it will in the coming years.
With that, we wish you happy holidays and we look forward to a new and interesting year ahead.
